Five of Cups As Gollum Tattoo — Smoke Tattoo

Tattoo Description: This tattoo design features a slender, ethereal figure with pointed ears, holding a detailed, stylized card or emblem. Swirling wisps of smoke and strategically placed leaves create a dynamic and otherworldly atmosphere around the central figure.

1. **Artistic Style and Technique:** The style leans towards a modern illustrative approach, employing fine line work and stippling techniques to create depth and texture. The use of shading is subtle, relying on the density of lines to imply form and volume, giving it a delicate yet impactful appearance.

2. **Design Elements and Composition:** The design is vertically oriented, with the figure as the focal point. The swirling smoke and leaves create movement and frame the subject, drawing the eye upwards and downwards in a balanced composition. The symmetry of the figure and the card contribute to a sense of stability amidst the fluidity of the surrounding elements.

3. **Recommended Body Placement:** Due to its vertical design, this tattoo would be well-suited for placement on the upper arm, calf, or along the spine. The intricate details require sufficient surface area to avoid blurring over time, making a larger size preferable.

4. **Visual Details and Execution Quality:** The figure’s anatomy is rendered with attention to detail, showing musculature and bone structure despite its slender form. The card held by the figure features intricate linework that adds complexity. The contrasting dark leaves against the light smoke create visual interest, and the overall execution demonstrates a high level of skill and precision.
