tattoo sketch Extreme Close-Up Shot of Sonic of Nuclea

This tattoo design features the head of the iconic character Sonic the Hedgehog rendered in a striking, deep purple rather than his traditional blue, showcasing a neo-traditional or illustrative pop-art style. The character is depicted with thick, clean black outlines that provide a high-contrast look against the skin, giving the image a sticker-like quality. Below the head, the design transforms into a detailed, monochromatic floral base resembling a chrysanthemum, composed of bold linework without any color or shading. Small black hearts float to the side, adding a playful touch to the overall composition. This piece is best suited for vertical placements such as the forearm, calf, or side of the thigh to allow the character’s large head and the cascading petals to flow naturally with the body’s anatomy. For someone considering this tattoo, it is important to note that the high concentration of purple pigment will need consistent sunscreen application to maintain its vividness over time. Additionally, the bold line weight used throughout the design ensures that the tattoo will age gracefully and remain clear and legible for many years.
This design comes in 2 variations, all shown above.
